On the 21st of November 2019 Shaykh Mogra and Ali Azam attended the Westminster Education Forum policy conference: Character education in England – designing the school curriculum, expanding extra-curricular provision and developing a new support framework. During Q&A Shaykh Mogra raised the question to Ms Dame Julia Cleverdon, Chair, Character Advisory Group to the Department for Education and other panellists,
‘Have any of the panel explored the possibilities of working with the madrasah/faith sector in promoting character education?’
Ali Azam raised the question to Mr Ian Boukham Chair, Character Advisory Group to the Department for Education.,
