The Jubilee Centre is making a most profound contribution in the introduction of virtue ethics into the national curriculum, which is a vision we have in common, and we are honoured to share the same platform and underline the most positive effect it can have on humanity and the world.
The approach of The Jubilee Centre is non-religious. Morality precedes the revealed religions, it is disposed in our primordial nature, “Fitra”, or innate religion which is shared by all of humanity.
( The Virtue Ethics Foundation would like to most sincerely thank The Jubilee Centre for their kind permission to use the animated film and the posting of their videos and research papers. )
Our goal is to educate and influence society
Through the website
where controversial topics and challenging phenomena are regularly analysed and discussed in an effort to form virtuous opinions in society
where use of good values, particularly human dignity, is promoted and remembered when people respond to injustices in order to achieve positive outcomes
where virtuousness and righteousness as the yardsticks by which to measure the suitability of political candidacy, are explained and discussed
which acts as a platform to those distinguished individuals who champion the cause of justice for the voiceless.
Through social presence
By organising and participating in events to promote diversity, pluralism and ethical ideals
Through educational bodies
By seeking the assistance of religious as well as secular educational institutions to include virtue ethics in their syllabi
We Want More People to Be Involved
VEF seeks the support of those who aspire to universal human values, and promotes the idea that peace and harmony is possible through the spirit of acceptance of each other based on such values and human dignity.
